Is this legal?

MH Reborn is a non-commercial fan preservation project. We do not distribute Marvel-owned content or game files, charge users, or accept donations. Players must already own Marvel Heroes — the server emulator is the open-source MHServerEmu project, which we just host for the EU community. We make no claim of ownership over Marvel IP.

Is the game really free?

Completely free. There are no purchases, subscriptions, or pay-to-win mechanics. The portal also has no ads. The cash shop is in-game currency only — you earn the currency by playing.

Is my old Gazillion account usable?

No. You need a fresh account — the original database was lost when Gazillion shut down in 2017. Create a new one on the portal.

What heroes are available?

Over 63 playable heroes including Spider-Man, Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, Wolverine, Storm, Deadpool, Black Panther, Doctor Strange and many more. All hero costumes from the original game are included.

Can I play solo?

Yes. Full single-player story experience, all 9 chapters playable solo. Multiplayer is integrated — you'll see other players in shared zones — but everything can be done by yourself.

Connection error — what do I do?

Make sure you added the correct Steam launch option (or are using the Marvel Heroes Reborn Launcher). Check #server-status on our Discord for any outages. If the homepage shows SERVER ONLINE, the issue is on your end — double-check the launch option spelling and that you're using the correct game-account email (username@mhreborn.com).
